Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an ancient healing art that is now being used widely even within the western medical world. Acupuncture can be used broadly to sustain or improve health during pregnancy and postpartum or for more specific circumstances such as encouraging labor to begin, turning a breech baby, lowering blood pressure, etc. Newborn and infant can also benefit by being treated via the mother or with acupuncture or tui na, a type of massage for such things as restlessness, allergies, colic, excess gas.
