Certified Nurse Midwives at the Hospital: Certified nurse midwives practicing at the hospital provide nurturing care and support for a full spectrum of birth experiences. They strive to maintain the normalcy and sanctity of birth while utilizing the technology of the hospital if needed or warranted.

Certified Professional Midwives at Home: A certified professional midwife is trained and certified to provide midwifery care to women experiencing low risk pregnancy and birth. (More info. At NARM.org).
